About
Our Story
Stevie Rose is a family-run brand, founded by Auckland mum Vanessa after the birth of her first child. She was inspired to create a range of organic and eco-conscious baby clothes that are gentle on the skin and the planet, without compromising on style. The Stevie Rose range is lovingly designed in New Zealand and made in India from the finest organic cotton.
Philosophy
Stevie Rose prides itself on creating clothes that are soft on littlies, and even gentler on the planet. The ethically and sustainably made garments are created with organic, long-lasting cotton so once your wee one has outgrown a piece it’s still perfect to be passed down to new siblings or friends.
Our Values
Transparency
We promise to always be transparent about the process behind our garments being made ethically. This commitment means ensuring that no child labor is used, no forced work environments are tolerated, and that all workers are paid fair wages. We believe in maintaining the highest standards of integrity and responsibility throughout our supply chain, so you can feel confident that every piece of clothing is produced with care and respect for the people who make them.
Quality
All our garments are coloured with Oeko certified dyes and made with Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) certified cotton, which not only covers the cotton, but the whole process including ginning, spinning and colour treatments in the form of prints or dyes. We chose GOTS because not only is the most extensive textile standard, it also has employment, fair treatment and workplace standards.
Sustainability
We pride ourselves on creating not only beautiful, organic, chemical-free clothing but also environmentally friendly packaging. We use compostable mailers, eco-friendly tissue paper, and stickers that are 100% circular and can be composted or recycled after use. Our commitment to sustainability is evident in every aspect of our business.
